Dawkins again

So, there’s a new paperback edition of the God Delusion out. Apparently it has a new preface in which Dawkins responds to the claim that he is, in fact, a fundamentalist himself. His denial is … less than convincing. The assumptions of his naturalistic worldview are pervasive.

Peter Williams has posted it in its entirety and responded to it. He has a strong critique. Interestingly, its as strong a critique as any of the rebuttal volumes that have been published since it succinctly points out the main problem. This diagnosis is clearer because Dawkins arguments are not responded to. The problem is Dawkins worldview: he is as much tied to his presuppositions as a theist is to their’s.
