A rumination on the New Perspective

I may be wrong here, but it seems like the New Perspective suffers very badly from focussing not even on the work of Christ, but on the benefits of Christ (and the pretty specific ones of covenant membership at that) to the exclusion of correct Christian devotion to the all-surpassing glory of the person of Christ.

It seems to me that the greatest thing about the “Imputation of Righteousness” is that more than anything else it points away from the self towards the King, for everything. It makes much of Christ. Which is a very very good thing.
